CODING EXPRESS

The Coding Express is a course designed to help kindergarten students develop an understanding of cause and effect relationships and early coding concepts, such as sequencing, looping, and conditional statements. By joining this course, students will engage in hands-on activities to practice early coding skills, including problem-solving, computational thinking, and using digital tools to design and express ideas. At the same time, they will be developing early literacy and language skills.

CRAFTING STORIES

This program is specially designed for our young ones to come up with creative thinking skills and make their own story books.Teacher will read a story in the start of the session and will provide opportunity to kids to retell story by creating their own books.

We believe that Creative thinking is one of the major benefits that highlights the importance of storytelling to kids. Telling stories is a great way to encourage your child’s creativity. By giving children the freedom to come up with their own endings, you’re helping them exercise their imagination and storytelling skills. In addition, storytelling can help children learn to think critically.

AFRICIAN DRUMS 

Djembe is a specially–shaped drum from West Africa which has a distinctive melodies. Djembe playing typically involves a team of drummers therefor emphasizes teamwork. Students will learn the basic technique to how to play the drums, how to create the 3 basic different sounds that you can produce from the drum and will also learn some basic rhythms.

During classes students will also take part in a traditional drum class-circle, which has been used for centuries as a way to create a sense of community and strengthen interpersonal bonds. They will also learn some simple African songs.

DIGITAL ANIMATION: CREATE YOUR OWN MEME GIFS

Want to create animations digitally? Most animations today are created using technology, but students rarely get to learn how to animate with them, which means they miss out on using popular animation techniques. In this camp, students will discover the creative possibilities of digital animation by animating a character. This Summer, they will:

• Learn 2D animation, drawing and illustration techniques-

• Make a short animation featuring an underwater character

• Feel empowered to bring characters to life through animation technology

The Mini Olympics is a multi-day event designed for kids to participate in various sports and activities. It introduces them to different sports and promotes physical activity and sportsmanship. Weaving is the art of lacing fibers or yarn together to create fabric or cloth. Handloom weaving, a time honoured tradition, is a method used to create textiles using a loom, with each culture having its unique form.

STOP MOTION MOVIES

Stop motion movie-making provides children with a great blend of storytelling and technology use. Stop motion is a filming technique where pictures are taken as objects are moved in small increments. When the pictures are put together, it makes the objects appear to be moving. To make these movies, we use a free app called Stop Motion Studio.
